This sounds like vandalism rather than terrorism Domestic terrorism, as defined by the FBI, is ideologically driven criminal acts, including threats or acts of violence, committed by individuals or groups to further domestic ideological goals, often with the intent to intimidate or coerce a civilian population or influence government policy. You might be right, but we don't really know what the motivation is until the catch the guy and talk to him. the motivation is quite evident to any sane person. Elon bad.

When people think terrorist, they think of people killing other people. Setting a car on fire doesn't exactly invoke terror. Agreed it's politically motivated and all that, but on a 1-10 scale for terrorists, this guy would rank a 1.
