Been on my bucket list go fish marble falls and my wife go to legendary bluebonnet cafe. I though it was a small circular lake but been told more river lake. Looking at mid April couple days. Is worth going to fishing wise. And some recommendations on where stay close by and accommodate boat needs. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Also is lake easy to navigate.

Lake Marble Falls isn't know for great fishing. Personally I would look at Staying in Kingsland and fish LBJ. Llanorado Inn or the newly remodled Roadway Inn are pretty nice places to stay. If you wanting something fancier Antlers Inn. Marble Falls and overrated Bluebonnet Cafe is only 15 minutes away.

What's legendary about this cafe? the pics on google of their food looks sloppy and your average restaurant.

What's legendary about this cafe? the pics on google of their food looks sloppy and your average restaurant. Nothing except they been in business since the 20's or so

I have actually found lake Marble Falls to be a fun little lake and Bluebonnet cafe is really good and will more than make a turd.

Thanks for comments. Any on navigating lake please Once you get past the big bend going up lake it starts to get really shallow with some granite out croppings just under the surface
