I got a quote for a 6foot side by side cedar plank fence. Replace 6 wooden post with metal posts, 3 rails, and 2x6 bottom board. The fence
is 43ft long. $2200
I'm thinking this is too high. What say you?

At $54 that's getting up there but we didn't do cedar. Two full sides, a double gate and a pedestrian gate was $7200 including the permit fee. Avg. cost in TX. for your fence is $35-$40 a foot. You're at $51.16. I'd consider that high.

Thanks for responses. Sounds like I need a 2nd estimate. Your fence looks good Bigbob. No permit that I know of. The city wouldn't
know it anyway.

She quickly got ran out of town and the city manager that hired her followed a few months later. Idiot city manager thought it was a good idea for a town the size of Joshua to adopt the same city codes as ARLINGTON. We're like 1/25 the size of Arlington. Idiot! He's the problem of some poor town near San Antonio now.
