Tejun in Red Oak is my favorite as far as seasoning goes. Itās perfect. But they donāt sell beer and not sure if they allow byob. they used to sell beer. must have lost there license? only been there once and it was very good.

BigFish in Gvine was the place to go for all you can eat before Covid. No more all you can eat now. Thats my buddies place, Mike still own it? Known him for decades. Used to go every Wednesday during crawfish season. I donāt eat those nasty things but my wife would go thru at least 6 big trays every week. They had very good catfish. Great atmosphere and nice folks working there. We hadnāt been since they stopped the Wednesday special.

Terrebonne's Restaurant & Bar...Just ask Monte Coon...Right now they are waiting on their liquor license, due to previous owners at location mishap. We were there Saturday and the crawfish were great sized and as usual very flavorful. It's BYOB currently. One of the owners is Phil Tullis, a true dedicated Coonass from Houma, LA

![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2025/03/full-61480-263023-img_5512.jpeg) I know this doesnāt help but Iām going to roll some bugs today. Yesterday morning while Riley and I were driving to Goliad for slack we passed HEB in San Antonio and she said ādad we should stop in the way home and get some bugsā. So daddy being a good dad stopped and got 30lbs. Spring break send off before she heads back to school Daddys don't just love their children every now and then . . . . . You're a great DAD sir......
