Fished Sandlin on Wednesday and Thursday and caught nada. Hit all my traditional bedding locations and didn't see a sign of beds anywhere. Temps of 56 to 61. Fullmoon, sunny days, light winds. Nothing. Finally pulled off to a main lake point and partner caught one 13" buck bass.
They should been on fire.
I'm glad there are wine drinkers in this world ..... it saves more beer for the rest of us.

Found 65 degree water in 2 different coves on north side on Thursday, saw a couple spawners on south side also……but none wanted anything to do with what I had to offer. Got desperate and switched to a drop shot and caught 2 in a staging area.

I caught 8 this morning. Biggest was almost 13 inches.

Caught some good ones last Friday and went this Thursday prior to the wind event. 1 bite all afternoon and a 1.5 pounder or so. I'm struggling.

I think the spawn is just lagging behind this year. Not down southeast texas. We practiced yesterday. Found three 7s, 2 8s, a single 9 and probably 200 5-6s. Tomorrow should be fun. Or we go out and catch 12 pounds like typical. Lol.
I can backlash toilet paper.
