maybe it will help keep the spectator boats off the lake and affecting the outcome.... One can only hope. With how good the live coverage is there is no reason to be out there, they even show where everyone is on the map. Watch it from the expo please.

If you haven’t watched them from the water it’s incredibly different. The speed and accuracy alone are insane… you don’t pick up on boat positioning on tv either. I’m not going in 30 mph winds, but I darn sure dont discourage others from experiencing it for themselves.

You can watch how they sit up on a spot etc plus watch them make small adjustments to things like wind speed/direction etc that live doesn't pick up on. I've never understood why there is not a small ribbon on top of live coverage screen showing wind and water temps. Maybe even depth.

It’s not a golf course- it’s a public lake would you want a bunch of boats crowded around you when fishing the most important tournament of your life?...how would you feel if you caught a limit of good size fish on first or second day and hoped you could save them for the next day but one of those "it's a public lake a-holes" pulled in as soon as you left and sore mouthed every fish that would bite...

That's a slippery slope. If they want fans to buy their sponsors' products then it comes with the territory. Don't get it twisted the game needs the fans more than the fans need the game. Plus they are public water during spring break. Historically Texas fans have given them lots of space and have been respectful.

I wouldn’t pull in while the tournament is still going on- but at the same time I can’t be upset if another guy chooses to do that. Pros get more out of a public body of water than they give, same for tournament organizers. One particular spot I like to fish, well a pro shows up at the last classic and fished it and now that place gets hammered all the time so it cuts both ways.

I would have loved to be that good. I have been out there and the camera makes it look like the fans are closer than they are
