Mercury 75 hp and two graphs.

Do I need a dual purpose since the battery well has a dual purpose cranking the main and running graphs ?

The current battery has no labels but based on size (10in by 7in) seems like a group 24

What are ideal battery specs for this setup?

Depends on the size of the graphs and other things you are running off the battery. If no problems with the group 24 you might just go up in size if you have room. Check the manual for the CCA requirement for that motor. When my flooded cell cranking battery bit the dust I switched to an AGM because of maintenance and location. The AGM meets the required CCAs for my motor but motor just does not fire up like it did with the previous battery. I may go to a lithium cranking battery. I switched TM batteries to lithium and moved my graphs over.
