Put Welsh on your list as well, you can idle and catch a lot of fish, do not need to run it. If you see someone that turns right (south) you can likely follow them not many run that lake unless they know where they are running. Do not follow anyone to the left (north) no upside to running that way.

Quitman just has one public ramp. Its a little rough but just go slow. Running north on Holbrook, shut down at the buoy about 2/3 of the way up the lake.

Gotcha. I was getting my info off of TPWD, and they show 3 ramps on Quitman. Not sure what that’s about

Is that still an active power plant lake or is the plant shutdown?

Thanks. Might be spending quite a bit of time on those smaller lakes up there if my weather forecast is correct. Gusts to 40mph on Tuesday and Wednesday…???? OMG
