It’s a one-year deal, with a base salary of $2.75 million and incentives that could raise his earnings to $6.25 million.
Najee Harris, who statistically didn’t have as good a year as Dowdle, got a $3.75 million signing bonus with a fully guaranteed $1.5 million base salary and a whopping $4 million in rushing yards incentives. The Chargers gave out a $5.25 million base salary that can escalate all the way up to $9.25 million.
The Dowdle contract is a bargain.
