We are likely skipping practice altogether. Be careful if you are going, SSW winds sustained at 20-25 with 50mph gusts. That lake and SSW or NNW are the absolute worst conditions possible, the main lake will NOT be navigable.

Saturday looks fine but Friday is dangerous, be careful.

They are only calling for gusts 30-35 now. You should be good LOL.

Of course I'm joking. Screw that.

Ha.... There are public ramps up the East side where you could get in a creek and practice but man.....even loading back up will be a sketchy event.

The good news is little to no sight fishing & less sore lipping on Friday. Saturday should be good! 15-17lbs to get a check and close to 30lbs should be in the cards. As bad as I want to go look around, I'll just play on my graphs and create an ABC plan.

Lastly, with take off at 7:15 & Log Cabin launching, better get there early!

I talked with Mike last year. They lost sponsorship and he couldn't afford to do it out of his pocket. He was looking for new sponsorship I think. Have not talked to him in a while

Sure would be nice if they would bring some kind of big bass tournament back to CC for March

Friday was windy and rough. We think Saturday afternoon was even worse, at least it was running from Clear Creek back to Caney. I told my partner I was going to drive to the National Weather Service office in Ft. Worth and punch everyone. Men, women, kids, old ladies on walkers, everyone. They couldn't have missed the Saturday forecast any worse if they tried, starting with the zero mention of rain that turned into thunderstorms waking me up at 3:30. Then we had the 5-10 mph wind they called for actually being 25-40. Were they all drunk over there?

Throat punch a few for me too. The REALLY missed that one.

I got up….and waited for the rain to stop. ……then I hooked up and pulled down the street….to another shower. Lol.
