They have been there for nine months now. Probably making straight overtime now! A planned eight-day stay on the orbiting station has dragged on for Wilmore and Williams, a pair of veteran astronauts and U.S. Navy test pilots. Bummer. Hope they fix the issue quickly and get those guys back.
If you haven't listened to Elon's last visit with Joe Rogan, you really should. They talk about this mission, and how leaving them up there was basically a politically motivated decision by Biden because he didn't want Elon/SpaceX to get the credit..

Space X been having some serious setbacks of late. Kind of makes a person wonder if there might be some sabotage by some MAGA haters in the company. They were making huge strides and then all of a sudden, after Trump was reelected the problems started.

I think the next launch window is Friday evening, past that I’m not sure. I can’t fathom being stuck in that environment for 9 months

They were making huge strides and then all of a sudden, after Trump was reelected the problems started. I'm not sure it is anything unexpected. Their philosophy on R&D since they've started has always been to learn through failure. Remember how many rockets they blew up while coming up with the new engines? Then how many blew up while they figured out how to bring them in for a landing? Now they are testing the equipment to travel into deep space with heavier and heavier loads. I think perhaps we have gotten used to seeing a giant rocket being caught by a pair of robot chopsticks and think SpaceX is infallible, when the truth may be they are just in the next phase of R&D.

Only four more weeks till taxes are due. Spending ten months of the year in orbit may cause some tax jurisdiction issues.
