So what do you fish out of ?

I would probably not buy a Triton these days and I fish out of a Phoenix

Let me guess, you think the quality is down since the evil JM bought them?

Of course there is a 2025 model, what do you all think they would do with the boats that are already built and sitting at the factory. hammer

I have had several triton boats, I think they are an all around great boat, running a Caymas now, Earl Bentz builds a dam good bass boat.

I wonder who is building more Caymas or Triton? I rarely see either one these days unless it’s a big tournament on the lake

Sure seeing lots of Tritons for sell all of a sudden. Noticed the same thing with Legend right before they went POOF!

lol I heard they had quality problems before Johnny bought them

This is an example I saw on the showroom floor. This was the most glaring imperfection in the glass. A chip or something underneath the gel with scratches on top of it. There were other little imperfections in the glass as well. I almost decided to get it anyway until I opened the rod locker and found it slathered in carpet glue. They don't seem to have attention to detail.

The performance is what drew me to Triton. This example was 23 TRX, I heard the new XP boats are great

Not sure who builds, more but a large dealer here in E. Tennessee picked up Caymas a few years back and I see a lot of them... Triton has always had a big presence here... How does Caymas do in the saltwater world... Maybe be another case where one line keeps the other line afloat... Similar to Charger and PlayCraft Pontoons back when Jim Dorris was still alive... I'll be keeping my 2016 20TRX. No skimp in QC on this one. I'll eventually repower and keep going

Got a ‘16 18trx. I’m pretty happy with it and plan on keeping it as long as it floats. Just repowered this month and it definitely makes me smile when I drive it now!
