I need to figure out the fishing around here, I love the topwater bite get a live shiner and slide the bobber all the way down to it.

I will be fishing Coleto Creek Friday although I won't be throwing a lot of topwater. Was up there a couple weeks back in my yak and beat all the boat anglers in the Fishers of Men tourney. I had a 5 fish total a little over 13 lbs and a big fish of 4 lb 12 oz and lost a 7-8 pounder at yakside... 11 something won it with a dink for biggest bass.... Funny watching guys spend 100K on a boat that they are scared to put a scratch on getting to where the fish are biting. I hope to be out there to beat them again in 2 weeks.  Gregpaul...where are you seeing whitecaps? Windfinder is showing less than 10kts in Victoria... Is N. Tx still showing windy??

I know nothing! š Have you tried the new Live Target Freestyle Frogs??? OMG they look good in the water!! I tried the batch I ordered this past Saturday on the Nueces River and was super impressed. In my opinion a must have for top water enthusiasts.
