Wanting to mount SI transducer on my 2023 minn-kota terrova trolling motor. Has anyone, or know of anyone that has used the Cornfield Crappie wire saver? If so, what are your thoughts?

I used one a few years ago and it worked fine, changed my setup and took it off, I think still in my garage. Was probably on my Xi5, I have not used any other motor for a long time....

Good to hear that they work well, and no they aren't cheap. I have tried alternatives like hard plastic tubing coiled up along the shaft, but was still getting pinched. I hate spending that much on an already over priced TM but thought this looked like best solution. My biggest concern is that the amount of rotation to stay in place(spot lock mode) that it doesn't get wrapped too tight and snap wire. Thanks for the info!
