Are the bluebonnets blooming yet in the Kingsland / Marble Falls area? We are headed down there next week for a change of scenery and I'm going to play a couple rounds of golf. We've been there before when the bluebonnets were blooming like crazy in March.

No sir not yet. Few have started popping up. Give it a couple of weeks and they should really be out

They spread like crazy. I planted 16 plants in my ditch. 20 years later they covered half my front yard. When the seed pods open they pop and throw the seeds. I started harvesting the seeds and giving some to my daughter.

I think they are a little late this year. I have not seen any buds on mine.

I think they’re a little late this year due to the lack of sufficient rainfall this past fall and winter.

I remember when I was a kid all the older fishermen used to say when the bluebonnets are blooming, the crappie are spawning. Don't know if there is any truth to that....

red buds have'nt bloomed and bass aren't bedding yet, so no. Two weeks away.

Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.
