This is probably old news on here but it looks like J.M. has gotten rid of another boat brand to go along with Fisher, Procraft, Astro, Javelin, Stratos, Legend and now Triton and probably a few I can't recall. The guy will soon have the only two boats left for sale lol

Looks like a lot of 2025 models are out there and still being produced. I’d say you’re wrong.

Ranger Z520 guy.

I heard they are no longer making Triton and are going to focus on Nitro n Ranger. I can't find a 2025 anywhere.

Basic search on Boat Trader finds 30+ Triton 2025 available.

Triton 2025 boats

But doesn’t look good for the long term.

Of course there is a 2025 model, what do you all think they would do with the boats that are already built and sitting at the factory. hammer

I wonder who is building more Caymas or Triton? I rarely see either one these days unless it’s a big tournament on the lake

lol I heard they had quality problems before Johnny bought them

This is an example I saw on the showroom floor. This was the most glaring imperfection in the glass. A chip or something underneath the gel with scratches on top of it. There were other little imperfections in the glass as well. I almost decided to get it anyway until I opened the rod locker and found it slathered in carpet glue. They don't seem to have attention to detail.

The performance is what drew me to Triton. This example was 23 TRX, I heard the new XP boats are great

Not sure who builds, more but a large dealer here in E. Tennessee picked up Caymas a few years back and I see a lot of them... Triton has always had a big presence here... How does Caymas do in the saltwater world... Maybe be another case where one line keeps the other line afloat... Similar to Charger and PlayCraft Pontoons back when Jim Dorris was still alive... Got a ‘16 18trx. I’m pretty happy with it and plan on keeping it as long as it floats. Just repowered this month and it definitely makes me smile when I drive it now!

I wouldn't be surprised if they; Triton, and a few more went away or at least got more into the stand up center console bay boats. I was looking at some numbers this week that showed what people are buying and bass boats aren't very popular right now they are at or near the bottom for demand by boat buyers in general. The survey I saw covered the boat market across the board and in fishing boats bass boats are in the low to singe digits for demand if I remember right. Center consoles were at the top.

Skeeters are only popular in Texas because their made here. Around the rest of the country their considered third rate junk.

I'm still running my Triton 21 X DC (Bass Master Clastic model) that I bought new in January 2004. My Merc 225 Opti is still running strong, probably lost a few miles per hr. though.

You need to get out more... Skeeters here in E. Tennessee outnumber all boats combined... Was at the ramp today and there were 6 trailers... 4 Skeeters, a Nitro and me... Dan

Looking at BBC…..Skeeter owners are only outnumbered by Ranger owners.

Id guess that Skeeter probably sells more glass bassboats than Ranger. Ranger probably sells more boats overall than Skeeter (deep v and aluminum added in)

Ranger Z520 guy.

I fish with him regularly. He fishes out of a Ranger. Not even funny and a terrible fisherman. He is good at netting my fish though.

Hope you're a better angler than comedian.

I fish with him regularly. He fishes out of a Ranger. Not even funny and a terrible fisherman. He is good at netting my fish though.

Sorry, one of those goofy aluminum rangers

I'm a Ranger Man - I smoke camel no filters and wear starched jeans and a long sleeve Ranger man shirt that is so starched it stands on it's own. I also have a satiny Ranger jacket for when it's chilly. I like to just glare at people when they try and be friendly with me while I'm fishing. Fishing is serious business. I'm a Ranger man.
