Better lake overall? Belton or Stillhouse? Tough call. IMO better size fish (Largemouth & Whites) in Stillhouse. Better numbers of fish (including Smallmouth Bass & Hybrids) in Belton.

Lived around Temple the first 24 years of my life. Spent a lot of summers on Belton Lake. I don't know why I never went to Stillhouse.
I prefer Belton over Temple. It has a more small town feel to it. But it seems to be a little crowded now.
