I work for HEB and someone in Marketing made a BIG OOPS a few weeks back.
A few days after Luca got traded I walked in the store at 6:00 in the morning and saw an end cap display of Luca bobbleheads with him in a Mavs uniform. And they were 'on sale' for $15.99.
That lasted about a day and a half.
Years ago my son and I went to a Rangers game on Dr pepper Cap night. The caps had the Rangers logo on the front and a small Dr Pepper logo on one side.
My son's cap had the Rangers logo on the front and a Dr Pepper logo on both sides. After I noticed we both kept looking around at all the other people with caps. His was the only one we saw.
You know that for big Championship games they print up tons of t shirts, caps, and jerseys for both teams as winners. They ship all the ones for the losing teams off to third and fourth world countries in Africa and SE Asia.
