That’s a logical course of action for most of us unless they are trying for suicide by cop. I think they might be trained to keep shooting till the numbskull quits being a threat. I always thought that was a chicken [censored] way to go out. I think a number of cops are probably pretty shook up afterwards. I know one who was a rookie fresh out of the academy and second day on patrol he had to kill one who was going for suicide by cop. That young man was so shook up about it, he wound up quitting the force. Said he couldn’t get it out of his mind.
