As far as I know, there are no hotels or motels that have private ramps.

Not if he is fishing the big tournament!

Or even wants to generally catch bass. Lewisville is much better. Grapevine is tough fishing for bass.

Agree with something around Pilot Knoll being a good option. Disagree with Lake Dallas being a good option. My mom lives there... Lots of tweaking. If there is an Airbnb or whatever a little farther north like near the Big Sandy ramp in Shady Shores I consider that. Borders Lake Dallas but it's a little less sleazy.

The Frisco/Colony side of the lake is generally nicer (newer) that the West side.

I was thinking lake Dallas since it’s more easily accessible from 35. We wouldn’t want Simple Jack Sanders adding another 2 hours to his commute if he had to drive to Frisco/Colony area.

why do you spend so much time worrying about me ?

Lived in Little Elm years and what was missing all the way from The Colony to Hwy 380 was any hotels/motels. Hidden Cove was great for camping/boat launching and Little Elm has very good ramp. You would have to look on 121, 380, or Frisco for places to stay but not sure about boat parking.

It is at the end of sellmeyer on the map
