Only downfall to Falcon, they have limited full cork handles; but at least they still have a few in their lineup.

The Amistad
The Head Turner
The Deep Runner
The Cara line is amazing. These are my favorite models they make.

If you’re wanting to get rid of that Lowrider Lizard Dragger let me know. I have used them for many techniques for many years. Some of my recent rods I have gotten that I really like are the Expert Head Turners. I am pretty short and these 6’ 10” rods work really well for me for certain techniques.

Head Turner and Swim Jig are a couple of my favorites, both are pretty versatile +1

The Cara version has the full cork handle. I've got both.

I would but Falcon is offering for me to trade them in for retail value. With that in mind the only way I’d sell is for $129.99 + shipping to you. You’d be better off just buying it straight from Falcon haha

You guys using the Amistad for flipping and pitching, how does it do with 1/4 oz and 3/16 lighter Texas Rigs? It's rated for 1/2 oz and up.

Too heavy for that. I'd stick with 3/8oz and up with the Amistad Now the Heavy Cover Jig in the Cara lineup is a different story (never used the HCJ Lowrider so don't know about that one). I was very relucant at first, but a lot of people suggested I get it for the lighter texas rigs (3/16oz-5/16oz rangiesh.) Don't let the name fool you. I absolutely love it. It has a pretty soft tip on it to where it doesn't feel like a broomstick and handles those lighter baits well. But when it gets to the backbone, it's straight power. When I first started using it (as in just throwing around at a local pond to test out), I was so-so on it. Once I actually got it out on the lake and "actually" fished it, everything changed. The sensitivity is phenominal! I've been mainly throwing 1/4oz texas rigs with a rage craw, baby brush hog, 6" lizard, etc... It's awesome for that. 3/16" is pushing the bottom end but it'll do it. I'd take it up to 3/8oz probably, maybe a little more. That rod is why I made this post. I can't do Lowrider for bottom baits now lol, going to trade them in for Cara's (at least the Amistad, not sure what I'll do with the dragger yet)

I talked to Sam at Falcon and for lighter weight Texas Rigs, he loves the Head Turner in the Lowrider line. I'm using one of my LR all arounds now but I am just not that accurate with it being MH. I appreciate your feedback.
