The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is planning a study into the potential connections between vaccines and autism, according to two people familiar with the plan, despite overwhelming scientific evidence that there is no link between the two.

The number of autism cases is rising in the United States. About 1 in 36 children has received such a diagnosis, according to data the CDC collected from 11 states, compared with 1 in 150 children in 2000.

have felt for years that vaccines are causing autism and pharmacy companies are covering it up.....we have a grandson who was normal until he started vaccines and became autistic shortly afterwards...

Something has caused an explosion of that condition……..for sure worth a peek.

To be fair, they've made the spectrum very big, so that's some of the rise.

I am far from a conspiracy theorist but it is not hard to see how many more with autism than years ago when less vaccines were mandated. I would be very surprised if there is not some kind of link. Personally I know too many people with kids or grandkids that are non verbal autistic. Has to be some kind of reason and IMO vaccines are a likely reason.

I don’t have a problem with the study but most of us adults have had vaccines with no problems, but maybe some people’s body it causes problems.

The amount of shots they give now is off the chart.

The amount of garbage we ingest now a days is also off the charts... Could be a combinations of factors working in unison... Hell, we waste money researching how cocaine, alcohol and low fat milk makes rats schizophrenic why not this???... Dan

How many $billions will it cost us?

I have taken my grandson with me twice in the last 6 months when I get my trt shot. He is 18 months old and has already had so many shots he has figured out what needle looks like. He goes nuts when they walk in with it because he thinks it's for him. When a kid that young has had so many shots he is already scared and knows what they are I think we have gone a bit far. I'm not anti vax but what the hell are all these shots for.

People get vilified by many in this country for “not following the science” being “anti vax”, but with some personal experience in my immediate family I will say I believe there is a link to the vaccines and “problems”. The China vax should have taught us be wary of the “science” because doctors, scientists, big pharma and the government will lie!

The previously performed thorough studies found no statistically significant link.
Scientists continue to test what is commonly accepted as known….and they should.
The scientific method often finds unexpected, valuable discoveries…..even when testing a hypothesis that has previously been evaluated hundreds of times reaching the same conclusion.

Some don't want it studied because they profit from big pharma.
