I have an autoimmune disorder that causes bone loss. Unfortunately my mother had dental implants and they came loose a few years later due to our shared illness.

Worst case I'll just gum everything like my grandparents.

Dry mouth caused by having my saliva glands fried during radiation treatments 14 years ago. Teeth need moisture to survive. I've slowly been losing mine. Sucks!

I started fixing my teeth in my early 30's no insurance I found a great dentist that made cash deals on Saturday's I still use him we are working on fixing my good teeth and I have a few implants make a plate . It's drag eating with no jaw teeth but im 50 know and working on it.

My mom told me to always fix your teeth that way when you get older you have something to hook your false teeth too...

If you don't have an electric toothbrush, get one. World of difference in how well they clean vs. the manual TB.

Met a fireman once who flew to South America to have veneers put in.Apparently it’s a big cost difference.He ignored the Dr request to stay in S America for recovery and flew home a few day after the process.When the plane landed his mouth exploded,blood everywhere and he had a stroke.When I met him he was still struggling to walk. Pretty crazy story

I haven't been to a dentist in 35 years. I dip snuff. I brush and use mouthwash 2wice to a day. No problem.

I go 2-3 times a year for general cleanings, maintenance, etc. I want to keep my teeth until I'm gone. I hated seeing my Grandpa had to do just to eat, wake up, etc. with his "False Teeth."

Seems like every time I go…that’ll be a thousand dollars, please!

Go to the dentist twice a year for cleaning and check up. No problems at all!


Side Note: I use a Water Pix at night and use a regular tooth brush in the morning.

I friend of mine was a dentist , he told me ---if everyone knew how to properly floss everyday , 50% of the dentist would go out of business
