If it bothers you don't fish it. Or we can just all be like you and hang out on an outdated page all day that people laugh at instead of fishing 🤷â€â™‚ï¸ Interpreted from what language was that?

I'd say your chances are diminished greatly if you are comparing your chances to someone who is proficient with FFS. If you both make 1000 casts in a day, but he knows he is putting his bait in front of a fish on nearly every cast, then his chances are remarkedly better when it comes to catch rate. Still a great deal of luck catching a fish that will make money when dealing with the slot though. I don't see Fwd Facers throwing anywhere near as many casts as Winders. Team Tournaments , one guy is compromised greatly so his proficiency goes down more than 2 Winders. What's your strategy when a Scoper is chasing fish offshore in a Team T? Whether in my boat or my partner’s boat it’s pretty simple. One guy on the trolling motor, one guy in his right hip pocket. Guy running the trolling motor throws center to left. Guy not running the trolling motor throws center to right. We’ve got it down pretty good where we will throw any which way at any fish. No issues at all with getting in the way. Regardless of whether we are scoping, winding, or dragging we are both up front 100% of the time. I don’t see how you can be even 75% effective or efficient if both people aren’t up front. The guy in the back is not going to get a good angle at anything unless you’re flipping pole docks or a tire reef. Even then you’re fishing used water most of the time.

I just go fishing. I never have thought about who I'm fishing against or how they are fishing. The popularity of FFS really has not changed that for me. I have it on my boat and some days I use, some days I don't. I love fishing and love tournaments but I don't get too caught up in what others doing when I'm fishing against them.

Right on! "Why do you want to fish that (tournament/trail/open etc) Steve? You know so in so and so in so fish it. You are not going to beat them." The reason is simple but it never ceases to amaze me at how many guys can't see it or even worse can't understand it. I love to fish and have since I was 4-5 years old. "Why do you go to the lake for several days when the conditions will have changed when tournament rolls around?" Again, getting up early, stopping to get coffee and a muffin or donut or sausage egg biscuit and ice while it is still dark out (and quiet) a bite to eat, idling away from the ramp contemplating the sunrise and the first spot to start, and then just doing my thing the way I want to do it, at the pace I want to do it, and with as many or as little rods and baits I choose, accompanied by only my thoughts and sometimes no thought at all, making the 3:45 p.m. decision of whether to head home before traffic, wait until after traffic or stay until sunset, knowing there is no wrong answer and that I can do it all over again tomorrow, all of it is because there is nothing in this world I would rather do or enjoy more..I love to fish. "There is going to be (pick a number) boats in that tournament and boats will be everywhere fishing your areas". As Mark said, what some other guy is doing in his boat, what areas he is fishing or how he is fishing doesn't really concern me for a couple or reasons. One, I don't have any control over those things so concerning myself with them is pointless, and two, I sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, don't give a ratzz ash, I have a much better time paying attention to what I am doing . . . because I love to fish. From my perspective, it is just another opportunity to go fishing ..and I love it. So I say to the guys that ask those kind of questions, if I only fished events I knew I was going to win, I would not get to fish as often as I could and that seems dumb to me, but perhaps the guys that ask those questions or worry about those kind of things don't really love fishing as much as I do.
Good Fishing and God Bless

Non-scoped a ton in 3 days this past weekend scopers we seen hadn’t caught anything Monday when we talked to them told them a spot they caught 7 in a few hrs found us and thanked us for putting them on fish. There is a secret to scoping them and catching them good luck you will figure it out.
