I Like This Look & Feel as Part of my UL Spinning Rig! Castable fluorocarbon can be used for for mainline. Advantages? Low visibility in water. Good abrasion resistance. And slightly less flexible than mono means you feel the slightest nibbles.

Castable fluoros mean the line should be soft (or softer than fluoro leaderlines). You DON'T want to spool your reel with regular fluoro only to have your expensive fill "unravel" when there's no tension applied. Flexible fluorocarbon line isn't as inexpensive as monofilament line but should help increase your catch rate. I'll be using my new Daiwa Exceler LT3000D-C on my equally new Daiwa 11ft Presso UL Spinning rod.
