I'll be in TB on the week of March 9th and am looking for a guide to show me the lake. I'll be in the Hemphill area. I'm bringing my own 19' boat equipped with electronics and am wondering if there is a good guide in the area that will guide from my boat. Any suggestions?

I know that there are plenty that guide from their boats with their equipment but to me it makes some sense to use mine.

Clark Rheem does an electronics training guide service so maybe he goes out in client boats. Probably going to be tough request though because it makes sense for them to go out in there boat as well. Safety, liability, comfort, convenience all lean towards them using their own boat.

David Truax-409-791-2453, He's been at it a very long time. Or maybe Jim Moroski,409-594-8964 he also has been at it a very long time, I don't know for sure if Jim is still doing guide trips or not. But I'm sure that you will not be disappointed with either of these. Stephen Johnston, also is still guiding, and a good choice 409-670-5856. There are several others, but I know these 3 personally, and they are very good.

Josh Sikes Bent Rod Guide Service. He did this for me when I got my place at Toledo Bend. Very knowledgeable and great with electronics.
