In the past I have been strictly crappie fishing Cedar Creek, as everyone probably knows the dock shooting can be really good but I’ve expanded quite a bit and have gone to Palestineand Richland Chambers in the past to shoot docks. Just curious what lakes y’all like shooting docks on?

For me Cedar Creek is hard to beat for dock shooting simply because of there being so many however Richland Chambers "Azure Bay" area docks will receive Honorable mentions

3 years ago RC was a golden gem when it came to dock shooting, there is very rarely anyone crappie fishing there. I enjoy it

Having lived in Tool and Trinidad I had the most exposure at Cedar Creek and got to learn the best docks no matter where I looked you could fish the right dock, the best shade. Decent change in elevation most places. Ironically the docks with the most brush were the worst. Maybe If you were standing on the dock vertical it would work.BUT for shooting flipping, pitching or just casting and retreiving , brush is our nemesis My main concern of where to start was the wind direction. SAd to say the demolition of old bridges and introduction to newer , taller columns hampered my fishing them.
1 good story was on Richland Chambers I was back seating and we set boat up on a corner of the dock. we were fishing the same area but form different sides. We both got a bite and it was not coming in.Guessing it was a large fish......Nope... we caught the same fish at the same time. 1 in a million.

Lake Dunlap before the dam broke. A lot of docks had stacks of crappie under them, waiting for a jig to drop by.

Just curious what lakes y’all like shooting docks on? All 3 of those are solid for docks!! I’ve had great dock days on all 3!

I once caught the same Fish ( Male Black bedding Crappie) twice in the same day but a simultaneous catch is truly one for the books. So who claimed ownership rights?
