This morning I took customers on a catfish jugline trip on Lake Texoma. The water temp was 53 degrees and it was overcast. About the time we were heading in to clean fish we felt a few rain drops, and when we were back at the marina we had a steady rain for about 30 minutes. We had the jugs set on the north side of the HWY 70 bridge, and we saw birds diving in the cove by Little Glass Marina and then again just north of Bridgeview resort. The fish didn't stay up long. In the time it took us to drop the jugliine we were baiting, and crank the boat, the birds were gone. We had a successful morning on the juglines, with a combination of Blues and Channels. We didn't have all the jugs in the water before we had fish on the first ones we set. It was a fun morning and everybody had a great time. Photo attached.
