George Jones - He stopped loving her today. #1 ranked country song by a mile according to writers. I have a few hundred from the 70’s thru the 90’s that are hands down better than anything put out since then.

George Jones - He stopped loving her today. #1 ranked country song by a mile according to writers. I have a few hundred from the 70’s thru the 90’s that are hands down better than anything put out since then. I heard somewhere that George Jones resisted recording the song and had to be cajoled into it. He thought it was too depressing.
