I`ve tried them before and had success but they are slicker than snot on a door knob bang They have some sort of Hook avoidance built in that makes it hard to get them on! Especially with big hands. Slab Sauce is a staple on my boat thumb

I like the gel! I spill way more fireballs than I can get ahold of and get on the hook! They're slick!!

I bought some to see if I could stuff them in the belly of the Roo and its a no go. If I tried hard enough I could get them to go but they are slightly too big and would pop out after no time at all.
I don`t remember why or when but I picked up one of these little gizmos several years ago. I don`t even know what it`s called but for injecting baits like Crappie nibbles & Fire balls into the Crappie Magnet Roo pouch it`s PERFECT! [Linked Image]

[Linked Image] You put a few Nibblets or fireballs into the cylinder ,replace the screw in plunger & twist it until a paste is just ooozing out the tip and insert the tip into the roo pouch.
