What kind of hooks do y’all like for wacky rig? Mainly senkos I guess. I usually don’t like fishing senkos but will likely be doing a lot of that where I’m going for the week. I’ve tried using my basic Texas rig hooks in the past but it gets hung up super easy.

Thanks

These are the two I use. I like the Gamakatsu when fishing thick vegetation. Doesn't gunk up as bad as others. Only draw back is that I tend to miss more hook ups with them.
The Trokar is my favorite and I use them as much as I can. Not as weedless as Gama, but my hook up percentage goes way up. Hook design works better for me.

Berkley Fusion 19 for the win for me. They're pretty weedless. I like the 1/16 oz just to help it sink a little bit faster. Hook shape is perfect for piercing lips. Can't believe I told you my secret.

I use the Gamakatsu and the Mustad "Finacky" style hook with the weight on the hook with the weed guards

I like the Trokar better because of the bend and longer shank. Better hook set and plastic stays put better.
I prefer using a nail weight instead of weighted hook as well. Better action to me.
Matter of preference. To each their own! cheers

Try not to get hooks with the nylon/plastic loop weed guards. They may be good for one or two fish at best. There are some with wire guards that are better. In the olden days I could buy Falcon wacky worm hooks and they were pretty good. The Gamakatsu with the stiff bristles could work. And use an Eco Pro wacky weight if you are an impatient fisherman like me. I like the bait to fall faster.
