Went to take my TM in this morning and door locked, another tenant told me he passed in Nov or so. Been frequenting him for many years. Took to Gulf Coast Trolling motors on Fuqua. RIP Greg
Not sure why there is not anyone else doing this, or bunk boards while you are out fishing or more mobile marine mechanics. If I had the electrical knowledge I would do it as a side gig but even I noticed lack of work at G&S last time I was there and thought it was unsustainable at that level.
Watch it happen, make it happen, or say what the hell happened. Capt. Phil Harris F/V Cornelia Marie RIP

Heard about this a couple of months ago and seem to recall that maybe one of the guys from G&S ended up at Bowden Marine in Humble.

I called Bowden and they referred me to Gulf Coast Trolling Motors off 4 and Fuqua at Fishing Tackle Unlimited. Dropped it there today, guy told me theres a guy in La Marque ( that used to work there) and a guy in Beaumont but no one else doing repair work.

One thing i have learned its not profitable to be depending on bass fishermen for income. The bunk wrap idea, seems cool but has to be localized, seen several offer it, but that only lasts for a short period. Yeah Im hoping TMs don't adopt the throw away model, like car manufactures are. meaning if it fails they just send u a new one, which means when its out of warranty, u have to buy a new one to fix it. I was sad to see this company just go away, I see some fiberglass shops and im worried many of these will see the same fate.
