They were found in different rooms and 2 other dogs were running free in the house.

I just wanted to log onto the TFF and say that since the dog is no longer with us, and as such, can’t defend its actions, I think it would be very wrong of LE to try and frame the dog.

Let’s see how this all plays out, but I sure hope that doesn’t happen.

I’m good with any theory that doesn’t finger the dog.

She was found in a bathroom and he was found in the mud room with a cane close to him. My new theory is he found her after an overdose (maybe accidental or maybe not), locked the big dog in the closet so it wouldn’t bite anyone, and he was exiting to seek help and fell or had a heart attack.

Quite possibly.

Why weren’t the other 2 dogs killed?

Could be. The dead dog was in a crate. 2 weeks without food or water in the crate and it may have died from lack thereof. The other dogs could get in and out so could've at least found water.
