Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa and their dog were found in their New Mexico home. Police responded to a welfare check and found them dead. No foul play involved. Hackman was 95. One of my favorite actors.

RIP Mr. Hackman and wife. I think I read where she was over 30 years his junior. He was an excellent actor

I don’t know any details; but the dog also is different…….was there a gas leak? Some of the old NM homes could use significant updating and a gas leak comes to mind if two people and a dog were found. Of course, gas leaks can also be manufactured and planned

Hackman played good parts in some of my favorite movies. Outstanding character actor.

Trivia:

While at the Pasadena Playhouse, Hackman and a classmate were voted "Least likely to succeed". The classmate was Dustin Hoffman.

Enjoyed his work.

Yeah I figured a gas leak of some kind. Really sad. Hackman is one of the greats. Crimson Tide, Hoosiers, Runaway Jury...some good ones
