Got to the lake around 8 am, but made 1st cast around 9. Getting across the lake in super thick fog was SLOW. And so was the fishing...Ended up with 9 Bass for 7 hours of fishing & nothing over 2.5 lbs. Ran into Zane who was doing better than me with a 3.5 pounder. He was also heading over to his sunfish honey holes & can't wait to see those pics. Water temp had fallen down to the high 50s, but did warm up to 60 by late in the day. Maybe now we can get some consistent warm weather to move those sunnies shallow & get the bass spawn going.

I did try fishing a submerged foundation for sunfish, but never got a bite.

Side Note: I ran into heavy fog myself heading to a honey hole way up in the hill country. eeks

Nice going Steve. There were several places I wanted to fish but boats were sitting in the area. There's always next time.

I know 9 fish is a really slow day for you, but I know lots of bass anglers that fish all day and catch less than 9 fish. roflmao Spring is on the way.

Thrash...I do to...but I go real slow, have all my lights on, use the electronic for navigation, keep one finger on the horn & pray...
