The unionization and red tape of those industries in Britain are a nightmare.

Oh? Well, I would guess there are many criminals on here because I doubt many on here are asking questions about how legal their lawn guy, fence guy, roof guy, concrete guy, cleaner lady, etc are.

If it’s been proven complete bs that Americans are lazy, why is it that you never see Americans do those hard jobs? Why are there hardly any working in meat packing plants.

I see Americans doing things like mowing grass on riding lawn mowers, and wandering around a job site with survey equipment, not with a hammer. It’s not a “schtick” it’s reality that few are willing to work long hard hours for average, nonunion, pay.

Well, a few things.

A lot of European country’s have housing surpluses, so there isn’t a huge demand for construction in a lot of places.

Where homes are built they are built very differently, and tend to last quite a lot longer on the average when you compare to the us.

Europe does the same as North America in many places for labor. They hire migrant help, legally, from African countries to fill labor shortages in ag or construction.

Saw a big concrete/construction job being done in Croatia not long ago, African labor, and Chinese supervision/engineering.

The problem with migrant work in the USA Today is that it is nearly impossible to afford it. In ag, they have to pay for housing, transportation, and all the paperwork on top of wages

That’s the best way to go if you want a job done the way you want it done.

I would venture to guess many on here have hired someone who is illegally here to do something for them…

In other parts of the south, and I am sure in the other areas of the country, the construction, landscape and labor industries are not overrun by illegally employed illegal aliens.

A big issue is the people who employee the illegals have padded their bottom lines for so many years with cheap labor, that having to pay actually skilled labor would make their heads explode.

There were several anglo - operated lawn services where I worked. The libs just don't want you to know about that; they get confused when confronted by the truth.

It's really sad there are businesses in Colony Ridge that depend on the illegal citizens...

No one is doing their due diligence to ensure they aren’t hiring an illegal migrant. If you need weeds pulled, and you see a sign for someone advertising to pull weeds, you are going to call them, make a deal, and they’re going to pull weeds if you hire them.

If they barely speak English and show up with a crew of 5 that don’t speak English you aren’t going to tell them to leave.

If they only take cash, you are going to pay cash, and the weeds are getting pulled.
