I heard that the U.S. President sets gas prices. I haven’t seen any change

No, the president can’t set oil prices, but his actions can have an impact on prices. Oil is a market driven commodity, and when you take that commodity off the market prices change. A lot of our domestic oil comes from federal lands and if I recall, someone removed access to federal leases not too long ago…..

I found gasoline for $2.30 per gallon in Longview yesterday. I was happy with that price... thumb

It is around 2.50 in Mineola and has been pretty steady in that range. It will take a while to get the new resources in the "pipeline" and out to the public.

Between Tom Thumb points and Kroger points, the only time I pay retail price for gasoline is when on a road trip. Will fill up later today for $2.09 at FloMo Kroger.

Diesel is expensive because.
Biden's EPA cancelled the permits to allow refiners to switch from heavy crude (Venezuela) to light crude (shale oil).
