I carry a money clip but Ive never lost a wallet.

I " lost " mine recently but found it a day later. In the interim was attempting to get my DL replaced online. It would have been easy if I had my audit or DD # which is unique to every DL: I now have it stored in case I do need it. Having to go to replace in person is a major PITA I hear. Luckily, I did find mine.

Lost it on wheat harvest in Trenton Neb . A local man brought it to me . He figured it must belong to a kid on harvest . I didn't even know i lost it , i was only 16.

once on an HS trip to Washington DC, about two weeks later I got it back except for the cash in the mail.

It has been a very long time since I lost mine.

Far as I recall I only lost one, and got it back the next day.
Lost it at Inks Lake boat ramp and was pretty sure that’s where it was.
Went back and looked all over the ramp, at the office and every where it might have been.
Got a call early the next day about the time I was fixing to start canceling cards from a guy at Santa Anna that pulled out right after us at the ramp and carried it home.
He found 2 or 3 of my business cards and called me the next day. I drove down and got it from him. I was very thankful - everything including $ was still in it. He refused any reward. I sure felt blessed to get it back.

Lol, well ya, once in a Uber for over a week, that guy was a real jerk, the other time my backyard and my dog whizzed all over it, he was a jerk too
