thumb I like the color. Let me go ahead and break you in, because it’s coming eventually.

For those that get butt hurt easily, it’s just a joke. My boats a slug as well.

Not quite. Maybe if it’s almost outta fuel and the livewells are empty. lol.

What it does do well is fish. And it rides very smoothly. Eats rough water.

Never worked on a VW. Don’t care if I ever do. They do look super simple.

Motor Monday turned into Brake system Tuesday and the customer returning almost everything that connected to the serpentine belt. He should have all the new stuff today.

I read this and laughed...the most humbled I've ever been was working on a VW engine. They seem "simple" but man they can make you swear like a sailor.

I worked for VW for 10 years back in the 60’s and 70’s. We had a run of bad cases(blocks) in 68 and 69 I was building 1 a day for nearly 2 years. Pull the engine tear it down replace the block, put it back together and back in the car the same day.

Same. Also love watching NNKH.

Sweet boat! Still in my 2004 521VX.

Got all the extra parts requires for the motor. March serpentine belt system and power steering pump, water pump, A/C compressor, high output alternator, and all the sensors and coil pack mounts. Also decided to do the Holley oil pan for extra clearance in the car.

Upon flipping over the motor and removing the factory oil pan, I found a “situation”. A busted bolt was laying in the bottom of the oil pan. Remember…this is a zero mile, brand new motor direct from GMPerformance. Haha. Not good.

I think I need to call GMPerformance and give them the serial number to this motor for documentation ….as a minimum.

Interesting, that looks like the oil drain plug I found on one of my cars the last time I paid to have an oil change. Haha.

Question, does this impala have gold spoke Dayton wheels?

Haha. It is all original. The motor was junk, so he wants a brand new LS. So it’s more of a factory style upgrade.
