Now that would be interesting

Pretty sure that was the same Deep Creek that Bill won in.

Sounds like BASS is running their different circuits in different bubbles. The organization seems to have a communication issue, and the problems starts at the top. As bad as MLF has messed up in the past its boggling how BASS continues to flail

Just let the guy with the most money and resources to gather as much information from as many sources as possible be the winner.

Serious questions? Has there always been an information rule. It seems like I can remember as a kid watching bassmaster and hearing the commentators talk like so and so got information from a local and it being legal. This was when I tuned in on TNN on Sunday nights.

Information sharing between competitors is allowed.

My question is what about unsolicited information. Lots of these guys have YouTube channels and there is always a few comments about what the anglers should be doing at an upcoming tournament. They may not ask for the information but they cant unsee it either.

I know and understand that information sharing between competitors is allowed, and i agree about the unsolicited info.

Watch this:

https://youtu.be/WQpKXcf-RE8?feature=shared

At 11:25 Randy Howell talks about heading to Venice because a friend told him there were better fish there.

At 26:30 the eventual winner Scott Martin tells us that his friend told him where to go in mobile bay.

How much does a polygraph test cost?
between $200 and $2,000
How much does a private polygraph test cost? Trained polygraph examiners administer lie detector tests for a fee. The typical cost is between $200 and $2,000. The specific cost usually increases with the length of the test.
So cost to polygraph everyone somewhere between $20,000 and $200,000

We don't have any way of knowing, everything said and done in either situation. but at Rayburn, a week or so ago, a competitor was fined 4k, for the same rule violation. And that same angler, was disqualified from a FOM tournament ,about a month or so back, for a 30 day guide rule violation. My beef with BASS is, why fine one, and dq, another for violating the same rule? I know, that one was in an Open and the other was a Elite, but it's still the same organization. The Opens, are feeders to the Elites, the punishment should be uniform across the organization. Or disorganization, as it appears.

I don’t like the no info rule but I don’t fish bass elites but Herren could have self reported so that’s on him .

Do away with no info and we go right back to who’s has the best “team”…. Meaning a certain anglers momma can start paying people again to go spend weeks on a lake during BASS off limits. Angler hits day 1 of practice with graph full of waypoints and an established pattern.

Sure seems to be a really big deal over a casual unsolicited comment.

Herron’s son’s version of this has to be complete BS

So having a convo with your son about fishing is now soliciting information?

At worst BASS could have based a decision on precedent set in the Open and fined Herren. Full DQ provides optics that will negatively impact rules enforcement in the future.

Florida Fish & Game (FWC) should have been contacted and cited each of the offenders who broke the no-wake zones along with the 30-minute penalty. BASS rules should not supersede state laws.

His son gave him the location of a tournament that was won a week before. And ended up being the winning location of the BASS tournament. I don't know what better information you can get?

I guess it would be legal for Lowen to get information from Herron since he's in the tournament?

100% legal. Looks like we found a loop hole. Might be the new big thing on tour!
