Please tell the customer you know nothing about building subwoofer boxes or Installing anything that will shake a dinner plate off the neighbors table top. Thanks.

I miss the days of building motors. Did chevy 283's, 327's when I was young in my teens. Put them in pickups, got vette bucket seats for them and muncie transmissions with schaffer clutches. My buddies and I could pull a motor, swap the cam, put headers on and drop it back in under 3 hours. Now the electrical stuff threw me until I figured it out thru lots of blown fuses...:)

Couldn't do it today....way too many sensors, and computer "brain" modules to get everything to run. I admire steez for tackling that motor project.

I bought a new to me boat the other day. Took it out for the first time Saturday. It has Trick Steps. Yeh. They’re tricky all right. 3 minutes into the boat ramp parking lot and I busted my [censored]. Haha. Limping kinda slow today.

……and where are the instructions for this stuff?!

It is a GMPerformance crate motor for non-emission off road use only. It is factory deleted for the DOD, but the O2 sensors and Mass Air Flow stuff is all functional. It makes for stronger running, more efficient motor. This one is only a 420HP motor.

The sensors and computer make it easier. It’s a PITA to run a giant harness with what seems like 80 plugs on it….but, everything has a place and there really isn’t much to do afterwards. No messy valve lash, no timing marks, reaching over the motor for distributor install, no carbs, and jets. Fire it up, plug in the laptop and set the air fuel ratio you want to achieve (14:1)….set the idle speed, transmission shift points, and press “save”.

Thanks man! It more than I deserve.

I have a great, and new, iPhone. It’s in a well worn case. I need a new one, but I’m a tight wad.
