I was watching St James BASS tourney today and there was I think Johnson throwing into this Lilly pads and just reeling in the bait... It had to be some type of topwater but wasn't a frog ... what would that have been? It could not have been something underwater at least I don't think.

Wrong tourney! I was thinking St John’s River Bassmaster.

If that’s the one you are talking about, Johnston said a 6th sense braid swim jig with Bongo trailer.

Multiple guys were throwing a swim jig in the pads. Bill Lowen had more success the first two days because he was actually swimming it out past the pads and that is where he got most of his bites. The fish had pulled out a little due to the colder temps.

Watched Lowen on day 2 live, several bites where right on cover. Just think he was in area they were in better.

Yep, I think he just found a really good area with a bunch of them in there. It was cool watching him in this event. I enjoyed it.
