I heard you can't swim in most of the ocean in Cabo due to undertow You can't swim on the west side of the peninsula. The bay side you can swim in.

We went to Cabo for a week for my son's wedding to his beautiful bride. Stayed at an all inclusive resort. Food was delicious, water was beautiful, caught a marlin (1 of 2 that day) and had a beautiful wedding. Where we stayed we could swim but on the west side resorts the water is too strong to swim. We will go back again as it was very reasonable rates.

Excellent pics PGR! Looks like an enjoyable trip! Sure does! If you see any scantily clad hot young chicks, would you please act like your camera slipped or whatever you need to do to stay under the radar, take some pics and post them here for us? TIA

I heard you can't swim in most of the ocean in Cabo due to undertow This is true for most beaches and resorts unless you stay on Medano beach south of the marina where you see the large arches in the water most people have seen when looking at Cabo photos. I have stayed on Medano beach, water is calm and easily swimmable, we swam every day and laid on floats in the ocean. Water is beautiful and no seaweed or sargassum which is always an issue in Cancun area. After going to Cabo I will not return to Cancun/riviera Maya side anymore for many reasons. In Cabo, much nicer, better food, safer, can walk the streets at night with out fear. High end restaurants, no sewer smell, no seaweed on beach, and water is very pretty, not to mention temps are a lot cooler and no humidity. I have been to Cancun/RM over 10 times in the last 20 years, but no longer. And fishing is always great, not just a boat ride like on Cancun, trust me I have been on a few.. Do they have any all inclusive 5 star Adult only resorts in that area? I make at least 2 trips per year to Cancun area, love the area been staying at Live Aqua, Or Ateleir or Xcaret Arte, so many awesome resorts to choose from in Cancun I rarely deal with Sargussum, Little to none in the last few years.
