The Sierra 703 is probably my most versatile rod. Love it for flukes, senko, wacky…great chatterbait rod as well.

683 is perfect for weightless fluke. Over 7 is too long for jerkmand twitch.
I use the 610 slx medium from shimano. Awesome fluke rod.
Don't think dobyns has anything like it

I have a 733 I use for some lighter applications. I need a 703, but a 735 is next on my hit list

I'm looking at buying another Dobyn's, in fact would love to have another Kaden 714C rod.
I was a little worried about some of the stuff I was hearing about issue's but had a broke Champion rod, took it to a dealer when I was at Fork. Walked in and handed them my broke rod, walked over and found the new one I wanted on their rack, walked to the counter and paid the Replacement fee and was out of there with no problem within 5 minutes. I have been a Falcon rod man forever and still have mostly Falcon rods even after some ot their issues over the years but this was my fourth Dobyn's rod and like I said I really like the feel of the Kaden 714C which I actually won in the raffle at the Fish for a Cure tournament and want to get another one.

Speaking of buying rods, I don't have 30 or more rod and reel setups like back when I was fishing every weekend. I now have 12 to 14 rigs and for the last 6 to 8 years every rod I have purchased, Falcon Lowriders, Falcon Expert Series, Dobyns Fury and Dobyns Champion XP series rods have all been purchased from the TFF and all bought for half the price of a new one. It sometimes takes a while for one to show up like right now I am keeping my eye open for a Falcon Lowrider Lizard Dragger and the Kaden 714C.
And just for old times sake I just purchased an old All Star rod recently from TFF.

Champion 734 is my “do everything” rod. It is good w/weightless plastics too. If you are using a smaller weightless fluke a lot the 733 would be great.

I think I have an extra I’m going to sell soon.

Over on the Dobyns Facebook group they’re always saying a 3 power is idea for weightless. My next rod will likely be a DX743 for that purpose if I catch them on a good sale.

Keep an eye out on American Legacy Fishing and LandBigFish. LBF just had 30% off all Dobyns rods with no tax and free shipping. A DX was like $245. I would have gotten one but I have other financial responsibilities at the moment. Dobyns rods are on sale quite a bit if you just keep a lookout for them

Lol actually the only 3 power I have is an Xtasy... it's my "finesse" pitching setup such as it is, for Florida, anyway. 5/6 powers get more use around here wink.
