Venue, it's all about venue. This BASS tourney, you can catch bass shallow, no FFS needed. Trey is sitting at 90.

Really good article and honest points he made. Who knows what the future holds with FFS but it may separate the young’s who use it and the olds who refuse to learn it which probably will be very few. You will either adapt to change or you won’t and will fade away. I think bass will Lee an eye on it the next several years and make the adjustments whatever they may be. Probably be like someone mentioned before so many with it and so many without it, time will tell.

If he fishes as shallow as I've heard he does it would be totally useless anyway. If the fish are that shallow and he gets on them FFS isn't going to do a lot for the guys that use it to beat him. He'd have to go to the deeper fish as well to use it. Changing up to deep fish would probably require him to learn or relearn new tactics.

“For four years, FFS has been changing the game of tournament bass fishing, reducing interest and participation at a rate never seen” seems like this has been impacting Bass Champs entries. It’d be cool if they could figure out how to run a legacy series and a scope series. I’m thinking no scope on Saturday and we who want to partake in FFS can fish Sunday (gives them an option for 1 or 2 tournaments if they want)

From what I understand about his primary technique that would be deep for John Cox.
