Never been, but The Across the Street Bistro is supposed to be great, but a bit pricey for steak (looks like $50 - $60/person). Chili's would probably be the other option for steak.
Tripadvisor is a great place to find good restaurants in the area.

If we stay at Chambers overnight and venture into Corsicana I just keep it simple. I grab something to eat at Chili's and call it good.

Old Mexican Inn is our go-to when we are in town. Like Derek said, I could eat my weight in Orange Dip. Don’t sleep on their salsa. It’s got some heat to it & it’s delicious. 1/2 order of Beef fajita nachos and beef enchilada on the side.
Taco Casa for drive through. The tacos, combo burrito & chilada are great.
Tasty Town as Steve said for burgers. I believe the owner, John Paul Plemons is a member here.
YO Catfish & Burgers on the east side of town. I haven’t had it but everyone raves about Tyrone’s catfish.

You need to be very cautious with any place that close to Ennis.

We ate at the Across the Street Diner when we went to see Marty Stuart a couple of years ago. It was very good.

There used to be an old fashioned burger joint where they served a giant hamburger about 14" in diameter. Don't know where it was, or what it was called, but I remember I was not able to finish the burger.
