Everyone smokes bass in Florida on this technique, yet it is hardly used elsewhere. In grassy lakes or when the water comes up, this technique is so easy and so productive in the spring. After a couple good finishes on Okeechobee with it, I finally wised up myself and started throwing it here in TX. I'm kinda slow like that...
