Yes, please move into this guys boat…what does bass have a 9”min. Thats a freaking 10 and 12oz fish in the live well. What a joke they don’t even put a minimum tournament standard for all lakes at 14”. That mo little fish y’all been flapping your gums about doesn’t even exist anywhere except in Bass. Damn things still have milk on their lips.

Do yall have the ability to foresee the future of who is going to catch fish ? It's s [censored] shoot thr 1st and sometimes the 2nd day. I really feel for tournament directors. They are in a no win situation with all of the Fisherman that seem to know more then them. The amount of whining and bitching from Fisherman is bad enough. Then add in the keyboard know it alls that aren't even fishing and its a very lonely position.

You do realize it's a 12-inch minimum in Florida and BassTrak is not an exact weight, correct?

Weber. You’re retired yes but not old enough to watch something just to complain. Need to go find another house to flip or something.

I do wish they had a couple floating cameramen. Being dogged down with guesses makes live rough sometimes

*** I do realize that there is a 12” minimum. The likely reason bass doesn’t have a 14”min like a lot of trails, is about 1/2 the field would zero otherwise. Allowing them to keep 12” fish is a “participation trophy” kinda.

***I also realize those aren’t exact weights, as they could actually be much less than what bass estimates.

It’s possible they inflate those weights so it doesn’t look totally and completely ridiculous that they allow those tiny fish in the live well and likely end up in the daily creel. Bass elite anglers might also hope the fish they catch each day don’t swim up into and get stuck in the Livewell drain tube.

Your chances of winning a BPT event with 50 - 1lbers is a lot higher than you chances of winning a Bassmaster event with 5 - 1 lbers.

If they took a lesson from MLF, they would have camera transfer boats, the hot anglers would be on camera, instead of people not catching. thumb

Actually I think your statement is untrue as MLF doesn’t generally do less than 1.5# min weight any more so you would have zero weight with 50- 1lbrs, where as bass will accept something close to 8oz. And could technically win with (5)8oz fish.

See this fine sack of whoppers for reference from new sensation Fathergill
