just got a new boat and itching to take it out and break it in with the next good weather spell we get. whats the report like for the whites near hamm creek or kimball bend? is it still slow are they starting to turn on? any suggestions for lure selection?

I haven't been this year, but for lure selection I'd use a crappie jig, inline spinner, small to medium crankbait, small to medium spoon. Something small to medium size with movement and/or flash/vibration.
