Any of you guys belong to the private water fishing club in Texas. Trying to get some info is it really worth it?

I belonged to one for several years-the lakes had too many fish and they were stunted so I let my membership expire.

I'd pick a private club and a lake close to you and ask if you can fish it for a day before you decide.

Also, see if you can't get hold of some members.
